📍Location: Azerbaijan, Baku (relocation package provided)

📎Responsibilities: – Lead the design, development, and support of complex ETL/ELT pipelines; – Establish and enforce data quality standards, monitoring and validation practices; – Integrate and process structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets from various systems; – Provide clean and well-structured datasets to analytics, ML/AI, and operations teams to support strategic decisions; – Actively participate in architectural discussions, propose improvements, and define best practices for the data platform; – Mentor mid-level and junior engineers, assisting with technical development and problem-solving; – Support reproducible workflows, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to process automation.

📍Requirements: – AI Engineer experience: 5+ years; – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; – Experience in one of the following areas: computer vision, signal processing, remote sensing, autonomous systems; – Advanced expertise in predictive machine learning: regression, classification, tree-based models, clustering, etc.; – Extensive experience with ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.); – Deep understanding of model lifecycle management, hyperparameter tuning, and feature engineering; – Expertise in model deployment, MLOps concepts, and production best practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar frameworks); – Strong experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and RAG architectures; – Practical knowledge of LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and runtime environments (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Llama-based models); – Understanding of containerization, deployment pipelines, and CI/CD practices (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.); – Proficient in version control systems and collaborative workflows (Git), ability to set technical standards for teams; – Experience in scientific research, publications, and conferences; – English language proficiency: Intermediate and above; – Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and strategic planning skills; – Leadership and mentorship skills to guide mid-level and junior specialists; – Ability to effectively communicate AI/ML concepts and translate technical details into practical insights for mid- and senior-level stakeholders; – Curiosity and adaptability in learning new AI/ML technologies and frameworks.
