PHP Backend Developer (Laravel) | FinTech Support & Development
We are an international licensed financial company providing comprehensive payment and treasury solutions to corporate clients. We are developing our own technological platform for international transactions, working in a multi-currency environment, and integrating with financial partners worldwide.
We are currently looking for a Support Backend Developer (PHP/Laravel) with experience in FinTech and supporting complex payment solutions.
In the near future, the key task will be to ensure the stable operation of the platform after release: identifying and fixing bugs, resolving technical incidents, and supporting uninterrupted processing. Later, tasks will gradually shift towards refining existing functionality and developing new functionality.
What you will be doing:
- Diagnosing and fixing bugs identified after the platform release;
- Analyzing complex technical incidents (2nd–3rd line support), finding root causes of problems, and resolving them at the code level;
- Analyzing logs, SQL queries, API performance, and integrations with external payment systems;
- Ensuring the stability and correctness of payment transaction processing;
- Optimizing existing code, improving platform performance and fault tolerance;
- Refining existing functionality and developing new backend solutions in PHP (Laravel);
- Developing and supporting integrations with external payment systems and financial services.
What we expect from you:
- From 3 years of commercial backend development experience in PHP, with mandatory practical experience with Laravel;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in FinTech, related to the development and support of financial products;
- Mandatory experience with complex payment solutions: payment platforms, processing, payment gateways, or financial transaction processing systems;
- Experience in technical support of production systems (2nd–3rd line), diagnosing complex incidents, and fixing bugs at the code level;
- Experience in developing and supporting systems with a large number of integrations and external APIs, understanding transaction processing principles and data exchange;
- Solid knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, Docker, Redis, experience analyzing logs and writing SQL queries;
- Experience with Jira / Confluence or similar tools, basic knowledge of JavaScript (React).
