Entry-level DevOps engineer for a stable company. CI/CD setup, Linux administration, working with Docker and cloud infrastructure.
Tasks:
- Participation in the setup and maintenance of CI/CD processes.
- Working with Linux systems: setup, diagnostics, and administration.
- Working with Docker and containerized applications.
- Setting up and supporting simple Dockerfile and docker-compose.yml.
- Working with Git and version control systems.
- Participation in the setup and maintenance of cloud or virtualized infrastructure.
- Monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving emerging technical issues.
Requirements:
- Work experience of 6 to 12 months in IT in system administration, Linux administration, QA Automation, or Junior Development.
- Solid knowledge of Linux: Bash, file system, access rights, processes.
- Understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH.
- Understanding of containerization principles and Docker operation.
- Ability to write simple Dockerfile and docker-compose.yml.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins at a user level or for setting up simple pipelines/steps.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or local cloud/virtualized environments (Yandex Cloud, OpenStack, Proxmox).
- Confident Git skills: branching, pull/merge requests, basic repository operations.
