We are Kolsa, a product IT company creating a health and fitness application. We already have a cross-platform application, but we are rewriting it in Native for better performance and UX.

There is already one Android developer on the team, and we are looking for another specialist to help us speed up the process and implement the best solutions in native development.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an Android developer with 2-3 years of commercial experience who knows how to work with Kotlin, architecture, multithreading, and understands modern Android development technologies. With experience in video content.

• Work experience must be recorded in the Labor Book (provided at the initial meeting stage)

Technical Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin.
• Experience with Android SDK, XML.
• Network operations: Retrofit, OkHttp, Moshi.
• Local data storage: Room.
• Asynchronous operations: Coroutines.
• Multimedia operations: ExoPlayer + MediaPlayer.
• Experience with WebView (desirable).
• Knowledge of architectural patterns: MVVM, MVC, MVP and their application.
• Ability to work with Custom Views, LineChart.
• Image operations: Glide.
• Integration with Firebase, Crashlytics.
• Experience with HMS (Huawei Mobile Services) in the absence of Google Services.
• Git (mandatory requirement).
• Understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture.
• Ability to write clean code and conduct Code Reviews.
• Experience with Google Chromecast is desirable.

Soft Skills

• Quick adaptation to unfamiliar code, analytical thinking.
• Willingness to learn and master new technologies.
