We are looking for an architect to develop the Basis Cloud Control and Basis Automation Studio cloud products. The products provide a cloud infrastructure management platform with a cloud resources as a service delivery model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing solutions for new customer business tasks and cloud platform development;
- Developing technical competencies of adjacent teams: conducting demonstrations, consulting;
- Participating in defining architectural approaches, interfaces, and standards in collaboration with development, analytics, and engineering teams;
- Interacting with developers, testers, analysts, engineers, and adjacent product teams to solve architectural problems, integrate products, and implement developed solutions;
- Expert consulting in pre-sales activities and product operation;
- Creating and maintaining architectural documentation.
Required Experience:
- At least 6 years of experience in infrastructure or cloud technologies;
- At least 2 years of experience participating in product architecture development;
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba, etc.);
- Experience with VMware products (vSphere, Cloud Director, NSX-T, vRealize), OpenStack, ManageIQ, OpenShift, Cozystack, n8n, etc.;
- Experience with PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Redis. Experience with S3 solutions;
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, understanding of IaC concepts;
- Experience with Podman, Kubernetes;
- Confident experience with Linux-based systems.
Professional Knowledge and Skills:
- Skills in troubleshooting technical solutions and products;
- Knowledge of data transmission networks and data storage networks principles;
- Understanding of modern microservice applications and tools principles;
- Ability to create and develop technical architectures (HLD, LLD) and diagrams in C4 notation;
- Skills in designing integration components, a reasonable approach to choosing an integration method considering functional/non-functional requirements;
- Understanding of containerization and virtualization principles and operation;
- Understanding of the principles of building complex IT infrastructure for large companies (networks, servers, storage, clusters, cybersecurity, information systems);
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery systems principles and operation.
Will be a plus:
- Practical experience using Python and/or Golang for scripting or development;
- Experience with VMware SRM, NetApp MetroCluster, Huawei HyperMetro, Hitachi GAD, MIND Guard, Hystax Acura;
- Experience with Observability tools;
- Experience with ADR;
- Practical experience using AI/ML for work tasks.
