Middle/Senior QA Engineer (Manual/Auto)

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer in a large technology company that develops high-load platform products for international markets in the entertainment industry.

The products are built on a microservice architecture, so it's important here to be able to look at the system as a whole: to understand the interaction of services, test frontend and backend, and understand what's happening at different levels of the application.

What you will be doing

— participating in ensuring product quality at all stages of development and the release process;

— testing frontend and backend;

— engaging in both manual testing and automation;

— developing and maintaining E2E autotests using Playwright;

— developing API automation;

— testing REST API and WebSocket;

— working with microservices and checking integrations between services;

— working with SQL and data;

— maintaining and developing autotests in CI/CD;

— participating in the selection of testing approaches for new functionality;

— improving QA processes and approaches within the team;

— conducting code reviews of autotests and sharing expertise with other QAs.

What is important to us

— QA experience from 5 years;

— strong manual testing experience for frontend and backend;

— commercial experience in automation and independent writing of autotests;

— JavaScript / TypeScript;

— confident practical experience with Playwright;

— UI and API automation experience;

— good level of work with REST API;

— experience working with WebSocket;

— understanding of microservice architecture and service interaction;

— confident work with SQL;

— understanding of CI/CD and how automated tests are integrated into the pipeline;

— ability to independently determine the testing approach, assess risks, and be responsible for the quality of your part of the product.

For the Senior level, experience in developing QA practices is also important: mentoring, code review, helping colleagues, and participating in process improvement.

Will be a plus

— experience with message brokers;

— Docker / Kubernetes;

— load testing;

— GraphQL;

— Redis;

— mobile testing experience.
