Wat ga je doen?

Als freelance Vertaler/Ondertitelaar werk je aan uiteenlopende projecten, zoals het vertalen en ondertitelen van video’s, films, interviews en andere content. Je zorgt ervoor dat de boodschap helder, correct en passend wordt overgebracht naar het Nederlands.

Wij zijn momenteel op zoek naar Vertalers en Ondertitelaars voor de volgende combinaties:

• Engels → Nederlands
• Spaans → Nederlands
• Italiaans → Nederlands
• Frans → Nederlands
• Duits → Nederlands
• Overige talen → Nederlands (Vertalers/Tolken uit alle talen zijn welkom om te reageren)

Wat vragen wij?

• Goede beheersing van het Nederlands (native of near-native niveau)
• Uitstekende beheersing van minimaal één brontaal
• Oog voor detail en gevoel voor timing (bij ondertiteling)
• Bereidheid om een vertaal- en/of ondertitelingstest af te leggen

WANTED: Freelance Translators & Subtitlers (into Dutch)

Are you skilled with languages, accurate, and do you have a strong sense of context and culture? We are looking for freelance Translators and Subtitlers.

As a freelance Translator/Subtitler, you will work on a variety of projects, such as translating and subtitling videos, films, interviews, and other content. You ensure that the message is conveyed clearly, correctly, and appropriately in Dutch.

We are looking for Translators and Subtitlers for these language combinations:

• English → Dutch
• Spanish → Dutch
• Italian → Dutch
• French → Dutch
• German → Dutch
• Other languages → Dutch (translators/interpreters from all languages welcome to apply)

What do we require?

• Good knowledge of Dutch (native or near-native level)
• Excellent knowledge of at least one of the source languages
• Attention to detail and a sense of timing (for subtitling)
• Willingness to complete a translation and/or subtitling test
