Gym Empire Secrets

About us

Gym Empire Secrets is a podcast by Strategym featuring candid, unscripted conversations about building and growing a gym business. We’re looking for a freelance video editor to help turn our episodes into polished videos.

Role overview

• Type: Freelance, Project-based
• Location: Remote
• Communication: English (text-based communication is fine)
• Turnaround: First edit must be delivered within 4–5 days of receiving the footage

What you’ll do:

• Edit podcast episodes following our existing video format
• Create and sync subtitles for each video. AI transcription tools are welcome; subtitles don’t need to be word-for-word, as long as they closely reflect what’s being said
• Shape unscripted, conversational footage into a clean, engaging final cut
• Revise edits based on feedback from our team, who will review subtitles and final output

What we’re looking for:

• Experience editing video, ideally podcasts or talking-head content
• Comfortable communicating in English via text
• Able to follow an established format consistently
• Able to meet a strict 4–5 day turnaround for the first edit, and open to feedback on revisions

How to apply:

Send your portfolio or sample work and your CV to recruiter contact — compensation (including trial terms) will be discussed once we’ve reviewed your work.
