Data Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the quality of Feature Store — configuring checks on the Evidently platform, comparing feature collection logic with production scoring, identifying degradation and discrepancies;
• Support and development of existing data quality checks;
• Implementation of automatic checks at the loading stages (Soda Core);
• Setting up dashboards in Grafana;
• Synchronization of OpenMetaData content;
• Audit of user data marts: analysis of usage, identification of unused and resource-intensive objects;
• Interaction with BI analysts for correct construction of data sources.

Requirements:

• Technology Stack: Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, Soda Core, Grafana, OpenMetaData, Git, Trino, Apache Iceberg, Evidently;
• At least 1 year of commercial development experience in Python (specifically for data engineering);
• Advanced SQL (window functions, CTE, joins, subqueries);
• Experience writing DAGs in Apache Airflow;
• Practical experience in implementing data quality checks (Soda Core or similar);
• Understanding of Data Quality principles: uniqueness, completeness, freshness, consistency, distribution;
• Knowledge of data monitoring setup principles (Grafana);
• Knowledge of metadata catalogs (OpenMetaData or similar);
• Willingness to interact with BI developers (Qlik, Power BI).
