From November 2023 we've launched a new office in Cyprus to develop in-house solutions for risk management, anti-fraud operations and cybersecurity.

We are developing advanced data-driven solutions for the fintech industry, focusing on real-time data processing, analytics, and decision-making. If you enjoy working with large-scale data, production-level ML models, and high-impact challenges — this role could be a great fit.

Role as a Data Scientist:

• Analyze transactional data to detect fraudulent activities.

• Develop predictive models and scoring to prevent fraud.

• Automate data processes using Python, SQL, and design/implement workflows.

• Utilize statistical techniques and data manipulation to identify fraudulent patterns.

• Create clear data visualizations to inform stakeholders and support decisions.

• Collaborate with teams and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

• Stay updated on fraud trends and bring innovative ideas to enhance detection processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (focus on fraud detection or analytics preferred).

• 3–5 years of experience in a Data Scientist role (experience in the finance industry is preferred)

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or R.

• Strong statistical and machine learning knowledge.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Technical Stack:

• Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)

• SQL (advanced level)

• ML frameworks (XGBoost, LightGBM or similar)

• Experience working with large-scale datasets

• Deep learning tools (Keras, PyTorch)

Nice to have:

• Agentic Systems

• Graph algorithms and graph databases

• Spark / Kafka / Airflow

• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Docker / APIs

• Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)

Language

• English: B1 required, B2+ preferred
