Our product integrates hundreds of services, processes terabytes of data, and serves millions of users. To ensure the system operates stably, we need to thoroughly test the performance of each component, especially critical scenarios. Therefore, we are looking for a true expert in load testing, who can comprehensively analyze testing processes, is ready to purposefully develop and promptly refine the necessary tools, and can competently optimize existing solutions.
What we expect from the candidate:
- Understanding of high-load web application architecture, experience with distributed systems, *nix, and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in Python for script writing, practical experience in load testing (JMeter, Locust, Yandex.Tank, Taurus).
- Experience in analyzing the performance of databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Clickhouse) and services (written in C++, Python, Node.js) using logs, statistics, and monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana), and conducting load tests.
- Systemic thinking, ability to build processes from task definition to implementation.
- Stress resistance, ability to maintain a cool head when searching for performance degradation causes.
Tasks to be solved:
- Quality control of released versions: conducting load tests of critical services and scenarios to prevent failures.
- Development and refinement of tools for early detection of performance issues, integrating checks into regular version testing processes.
- Incident analysis and investigation: identifying bottlenecks in databases, services, and infrastructure using all available information (logs, metrics, traces).
- Interaction with related teams.
