About the company:
Tangem is a company in the blockchain sector developing hardware cold wallets and mobile applications for secure digital asset management.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the technical development of Tangem Express — an exchange aggregator integrated into Tangem Wallet. • Own the backend architecture, code quality, technical decisions, and scalability. • Design and maintain integrations with 12+ external crypto exchange providers. • Improve platform availability, reliability, performance, and fault tolerance. • Investigate production incidents and resolve complex technical issues. • Manage a team of four backend engineers: planning, prioritization, code review, and development standards.
Requirements:
• Commercial experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript. • Experience in a Tech Lead or Senior/Staff Backend Engineer role with responsibility for complex systems. • Deep knowledge of software architecture, design principles, microservices, and clean architecture. • Experience with crypto systems or transactional platforms (swaps, exchanges, crypto service providers). • Experience integrating third-party APIs with error handling, timeouts, retries, and failure recovery. • Strong PostgreSQL/SQL skills, experience with high-load systems, application security, and testing (unit, E2E).
Will be a plus:
• Experience with crypto exchanges, swap aggregators, or wallets. • Understanding of crypto-swap mechanics, exchange routing, and liquidity providers. • Experience integrating CEX/DEX APIs.
