Product Designer for Broadcasts

VK Video is one of the key drivers of the VK group, and also one of the largest Russian video services by content volume, consumption time, and audience scale.

We are looking for an experienced product designer for the broadcast direction. We expect you to independently manage tasks, propose initiatives, and directly determine the development of content format within VK Video and the separate product VK Video Live.

We are open to cooperation in any format — both in a hybrid mode in offices in Moscow or Saint Petersburg, and remotely from other cities in Russia. We look forward to your applications!

Tasks

— Create and develop broadcast interfaces within VK Video, including the section, broadcast page, player, chat, and delayed notifications

— Work with hypotheses: research user behavior, interpret analytics data, and propose solutions

— Accompany the development of product solutions and control the quality of their implementation

— Share experience and ideas with the team, as well as with other related disciplines

Requirements

— Strong portfolio demonstrating graphics, thinking, and contribution to product development

— Attention to detail, user empathy, and understanding of UX patterns

— Systems thinking, ability to clearly argue decisions, and communicate effectively

— Work planning skills, ability to take responsibility for results, and assess one's own resources

Will be a plus

— Experience working on TV platforms

— Experience working with video services, OTT platforms, or media players

— Animation and motion design skills

— Love for sports and gaming — topics where broadcasts play a key role
