Developer for the Search Development Service of Market

We are looking for a C++ developer to join the search quality team of Market. This search service enables finding and selecting products on Market and other Yandex services. Tens of millions of users see the results of the product search daily.

You will work on the performance and reliability of the service, applying machine learning methods in your work. You can expect a lot of high-load code, working with large volumes of data, and developing microservices.

What tasks await you

Speed up data delivery for search services You will build a feature store, a KV storage that will allow quick retrieval of factors for ranking by simple keys, and implement real-time updates of critical data for Market search: from neural network embeddings for ranking to simple data needed for rendering a badge on a product snippet. It will also be necessary to integrate all data into a common system that will manage their collection and processing.

We expect that you

• Code in C++
• Are familiar with Linux
• Have a strong algorithmic background

Will be a plus

• Know Python
• Have experience in multithreaded and network programming
• Know the basics of ML
• Have worked with SQL
