I am looking for a Commercial Data Analyst at Arbuz.kz
What you need to know and be able to do:
General work experience of 4+ years, of which at least 2 years in the role of Data Analyst — preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG, with experience working with BI systems and data warehouses.
Hard skills
- Confident SQL — query optimization, window functions, working with large volumes of data
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI — mandatory; Grafana, Metabase — as a plus)
- Excel / Google Sheets at an advanced level (pivot tables, array formulas, modeling)
- Data visualization skills and the ability to interpret them for a business audience
- Basic knowledge of statistics and analytical methods
- Ability to use AI tools (Claude, Cursor) to optimize routine tasks
Soft skills:
- Ability to defend data to stakeholders — not just show a number, but explain the methodology and justify the calculation
- Independence in formulating tasks: the domain is not covered, there will be no ready-made ToRs — you need to determine for yourself what to calculate and why
- Ability to work with unstructured data and incomplete information
