The Kaspi.kz Store is a unique service, a multi-category e-commerce platform, the largest e-commerce in the Kazakhstan market.
We ensure that millions of users can place hundreds of thousands of orders per day and receive them on time.
The Kaspi.kz Store operates in small teams, divided by areas. We practice agile methodology in development, do not spoil the atmosphere with excessive bureaucracy, and take full responsibility for our product.
What you will be doing:
- Participate in the creation of new services and support existing ones;
- Understand integration issues with related systems;
- Conduct code reviews of colleagues' code within the team;
- Work in a startup atmosphere, in close interaction with other team members;
- Propose ideas on how to make the service even better.
We expect:
- Experience in commercial software development using Java for 3 or more years;
- Knowledge of design principles and patterns;
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), non-relational databases (MongoDB);
- Experience with the Git version control system;
- Experience with build tools like Maven, Gradle;
- Experience with the Spring Framework;
- Ability to express thoughts clearly and structurally, to explain complex things simply;
- Meticulous attention to code quality, understanding and use of SOLID, KISS, YAGNI, DRY, ACID principles;
- English language proficiency at the level of reading technical documentation.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with GitLab;
- Experience with Spring Boot;
- Experience with Apache Kafka;
- Experience with Linux systems;
- Experience with search engines Elasticsearch, Apache Solr;
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes;
- Experience with high-load systems.
