Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Media Buying who will be responsible for managing a team of media buyers, scaling traffic for an in-house product, and achieving customer acquisition targets.
We need more than just a strong buyer — we’re looking for someone who can build a complete performance system: team management, funnels, analytics, creatives, technical infrastructure, traffic quality control, and measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the media buying team;
- Set tasks, monitor KPIs, and develop team performance;
- Organize and scale traffic acquisition for the in-house product;
- Achieve customer acquisition / loan issuance targets;
- Work with advertising platforms: Meta / Facebook Ads and Google Ads;
- Develop, test, and optimize advertising funnels and bundles;
- Generate and validate new hypotheses, approaches, creatives, and funnels;
- Monitor campaign performance based on CPA, CAC, CR, approve rate, loan issuance volume, and traffic quality;
- Scale profitable campaigns and pause underperforming ones;
- Set up and control analytics across the entire funnel;
- Ensure correct event tracking and data transfer to Meta, Google, and internal analytics systems;
- Work with PWA apps, APK apps, and Android / iOS traffic;
- Collaborate with analytics, product, development, and performance teams;
- Manage advertising infrastructure: accounts, domains, trackers, apps, landing pages, and pre-landers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in media buying;
- Experience managing a team of media buyers;
- At least 1 year of leadership experience;
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta / Facebook Ads;
- Experience with Google Ads;
- Mandatory experience in “gray” verticals: crypto, gambling, betting, fintech, loans, or related niches;
- Deep understanding of building and scaling performance marketing funnels;
- Experience working with creatives, offers, landing pages, pre-landers, and funnels;
- Experience with PWA / APK / mobile traffic;
- Understanding of Android and iOS traffic acquisition logic;
- Experience setting up analytics and event tracking;
- Experience working with trackers, redirects, cloaking / traffic filtering, and technical infrastructure;
- Strong understanding of CPA, CAC, CPL, CPS, CR, ROI / ROMI, EPC, and approve rate;
- Data-driven decision-making mindset.

Nice to Have
- Experience in MFO / lending / payday loans;
- Experience working with in-house products rather than affiliate offers only;
- Experience scaling traffic in highly competitive verticals;
- Experience building or strengthening media buying teams from scratch;
- Understanding of post-issuance customer quality metrics: default rate, profitability, repeat loans, fraud rate.
