We are an IT company developing our own digital products in the financial vertical. We are looking for an experienced Media Buyer who has worked with paid traffic in South Africa, understands the specifics of the local market, and knows how to scale advertising campaigns with a focus on results and profit.
What you will be doing
- Buying and scaling traffic in South Africa through Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other relevant sources.
- Launching advertising campaigns, testing hypotheses, and finding effective combinations.
- Monitoring traffic quality, analyzing conversions, and optimizing campaigns based on data.
- Working with key metrics: CPA, CPL, CR, ROI/ROAS, and other performance indicators.
- Studying the specifics of the South African audience, competitive environment, and the regional financial market.
What we expect:
- Practical experience in traffic acquisition for South Africa — preferably in the financial vertical.
- 3+ years of experience with Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
- Understanding of the specifics of foreign traffic and user acquisition in the South African market.
- Experience with financial products and performance marketing.
Will be an advantage:
- Experience with financial offers in the South African market: loans, credits, financial services, and other products.
- Case studies of successful campaign launches and scaling in South Africa with specific results.
- Experience with display traffic and understanding its monetization.
- Experience with local advertising sources and understanding of South African audience behavior.
- Experience with other African GEOs or international markets.
