Social Media Manager and Content Creator

I’m looking for a freelance social media manager and content creator to help lead the next chapter of Emo Appalachia.

We’ve built an audience of nearly 50,000 followers across social media, but managing the content alongside my full-time career has become more than I can realistically sustain on my own.

I’m looking for someone who can help with:

• Short-form video, Reels, and TikTok content
• Lyric videos and other dynamic visual content
• Content planning, scheduling, and cross-platform posting
• YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok management
• Music promotion across Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms
• Repurposing existing music, footage, and stories into strong content
• Helping shape a consistent creative direction and release strategy

The right person should understand social media, video editing, music culture, and how to create content that feels authentic instead of forced or overly polished.

Experience with emo, alternative, folk, punk, Americana, or Appalachian music would be a strong fit, but I’m most interested in someone with good instincts, strong creative work, and a real understanding of audience engagement.

This will be a paid, part-time freelance opportunity, beginning with a trial period. Compensation and timelines will depend on experience, availability, and the scope of work.
