Team Lead Data Engineer (ClickHouse)

Company: Tribe Position: Team Lead Data Engineer (ClickHouse) Format: Full-remote Salary: upon review results Product: development and support of a high-load Data platform and smart services (recommendations, ranking, auto-reports) for an international iGaming product

🎯 Key Requirements (Hard Skills): — 5+ years of commercial experience in Data Engineering (DWH, Data Lake, and analytics infrastructure construction) — 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead / Tech Lead in a cross-functional team (DE, Backend, QA) — Deep practical experience with ClickHouse under high load (partitioning, sharding, replication, query optimization) — Experience in building event stream processing on Apache Kafka — Excellent Python and practical experience in designing distributed Big Data / Highload systems — Experience implementing Data Governance systems (data catalogs, OpenMetadata) — Skills in implementing engineering standards: CI/CD, Code Review, observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry), SLA/SLO control

➕ Will be a plus: — Experience in the iGaming industry — Understanding of AI agent principles and architecture (LLM, RAG, Text-to-SQL) — Experience launching ML services into production under high load (ranking, recommendation systems)

⚙️ Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for DWH architecture, data streaming, and 24/7 reliability of platforms and services
2. Lead a cross-functional team (1-on-1, Performance Review, hiring, context distribution)
3. Implement CI/CD practices, autotesting, Post-Mortem failure analysis, and control SLA/SLO
4. Conduct quarterly planning, manage risks, and defend architectural solutions to the business
5. Maintain close connection with product analysts, BI, and Backend teams
