FULL-STACK DEVELOPER — REACT / GOLANG / AI

WineSpot AI is an American tech startup that creates an AI customer service platform for wineries in the USA.

Our AI agents work via email, phone, and chat: they answer customer questions, assist with orders, deliveries, and wine club subscriptions, automate routine inquiries, and forward complex cases to winery staff.

We are looking for a self-sufficient Full-stack Developer who can handle tasks throughout their entire lifecycle: from development to testing and verifying results in production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop frontend using React / TypeScript. • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Go. • Work with PostgreSQL. • Develop the product's AI functionality. • Create, test, and improve prompts for AI agents and chatbots. • Integrate external APIs, WebSockets, and other services. • Write unit/integration/autotests. • Independently test your changes on staging and after deployment to production. • Fix identified issues and bring tasks to a working result. • Maintain necessary technical documentation.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Frontend

• Commercial experience with React / TypeScript. • Understanding of component architecture, state management, asynchronous data fetching, REST API. • Ability to troubleshoot performance and frontend issues.

Backend

• Strong practical experience in backend development. • Confident commercial experience with Go (Golang). • REST API, integrations, authentication / authorization. • SQL and PostgreSQL. • Understanding of backend service architecture. • Experience writing automated tests.

The main backend language for our product is Go. PHP / Symfony are also used in the project, so experience with this stack will be an additional advantage.

AI / Prompt Engineering

• Real practical experience working with LLMs. • Creation and improvement of system / user prompts.

For us, Prompt Engineering is not just about knowing how to use ChatGPT. It is important to have practical experience working with prompts for a real product.

Also mandatory is the use of AI coding assistants in daily development: Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar — with mandatory verification and critical evaluation of the generated code.

CONDITIONS

• 100% remote work. • B2B / working with individual entrepreneur, not staff. • Payment — from 1000 ₽/hour. • Payment based on actual hours worked. • Flexible work schedule.

Team meetings:

• Monday — 18:00–22:00 MSK; usually, after discussing your part, you can finish earlier. • Thursday — 18:00–19:00 MSK.

The team is distributed: Russia, Europe, and the USA. Part of the team works in California time, so occasional overlap with American colleagues is required.
