Experienced Backend JavaScript Developer (Network Team)

About the company:

The company develops tools for collecting publicly available data.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for feature development from design to release and further improvements • Development and operation of backend services in a microservice architecture with a focus on scalability and reliability • Participation in system design and architectural decision-making • Working with asynchronous, message-driven components (including Redis Streams): debugging, tuning, and ensuring fault-tolerant processing • Writing high-quality, test-covered code; participation in code reviews and cross-functional interaction

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, at least 3 years in backend JavaScript / Node.js • Experience in developing and maintaining SaaS / production backend services • Practical experience with microservice architecture (service boundaries, APIs, reliability patterns) • Experience with MongoDB and Redis (including Redis Streams or similar streaming/pub/sub processing mechanisms) • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container deployments • Understanding of system design: APIs, data modeling, performance, scalability, and reliability; fluent English

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Snowflake and/or data pipelines / analytics • Experience working in AWS and cloud production environments • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and additional NoSQL technologies • Skills in working with observability tools (logging/metrics/tracing) and participation in incident response
