Big Data is one of MTS's key units. Our technologies are applied in almost all areas of the company - finance, marketing, customer service, network planning, HR, retail.
The Big Data center team is looking for an intern Java/Kotlin developer for the MTS All Insurances product.
MTS All Insurances is an aggregator platform that allows you to compare prices from several insurance companies and buy a policy online. It includes several insurance products and is developed in a full cycle, which includes backend and frontend development, as well as work with big data.
Your responsibilities will include
- Developing server-side applications in Java/Kotlin;
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries;
- Integrating services with partner REST APIs;
- Covering new functionality with unit and integration tests;
- Interacting with analysts and clients at the design and implementation stages of tasks;
- Participating in code reviews and learning from experienced developers.
What we expect from you
- Students of 3rd - 6th year of Bachelor's, Specialist's or Master's degree programs;
- Knowledge of Java SE fundamentals (Collections, Concurrency, GC);
- Understanding of the MVC pattern and Spring principles;
- Ability to work with the Linux terminal;
- Willingness to learn and delve deeply into tasks.
