NRS (National Retail Solutions) powers POS, payments, and analytics for tens of thousands of retailers across the US and Canada. Were now building a next-generation cloud platform from scratch — one of the biggest technical initiatives in the companys history. Youd be joining at the ground floor.
The challenge: → Real-time reporting over massive, high-throughput retail data → Queries that have to be fast at any scale → Architecture decisions that will shape the platform for years
The stack: → Go microservices, REST/gRPC, event-driven design → ClickHouse: materialized views, aggregations, deep query tuning → Vue 3 (Composition API) + micro-frontends → Kafka/NATS, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS → AI-first workflow: Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code
Why its worth a look: ✔ Greenfield platform: build from scratch ✔ Real architectural ownership, not just tickets ✔ High-load challenge: real-time analytics over massive retail data ✔ Product used daily by tens of thousands of real businesses
Were looking for 6+ years in full-stack development, strong Go, deep SQL and performance-profiling skills, and hands-on Vue 3. ClickHouse/OLAP experience is a big plus.
