Our team works on the Yandex superapp - the company's mobile calling card. The superapp provides access to Yandex services and helps tens of millions of users solve their daily tasks (watch movies, check the weather forecast, listen to music, order food...).
Our stack
We work with Git and an internal task tracker, cover business logic with unit and UI tests, use code review, and automate routine processes using tools and a separate infrastructure team.
On iOS we use Swift and Objective-C, iOS system frameworks, and try to follow Apple's guidelines.
At the same time, we are open to new technologies where appropriate. Any member of our team can suggest how to improve the technological aspect of the project.
Architecture and new features You will design architecture, develop and implement new features, and be responsible for their quality and stability. Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure high development standards. Improve architectural solutions to maintain application reliability.
Performance and other technical metrics One of the key tasks is to study performance, identify bottlenecks in the system, and optimize it to increase application speed and reduce device resource consumption. You will need to constantly monitor and improve technical metrics, ensuring stable and efficient application operation.
Teamwork We work closely with product managers, designers, and testers to effectively achieve our common goal. You will participate in discussions, propose your ideas, and share expert opinions at every stage of product development. This approach allows us to complete tasks faster and with higher quality, making fewer mistakes.
