Requirements: Experience in designing and developing data-processing systems (not classical ETL/ELT). Experience with Python for 5+ years. Experience with Airflow (or Dagster with willingness to switch to Airflow). Experience developing backend services with FastAPI. Good understanding of Kubernetes from a developer's perspective. Experience with PostgreSQL. Experience in making architectural decisions and developing high-performance distributed systems. Bonus points for: Go. Kubernetes Operators. CephFS, S3-compatible storage. Slurm, Singularity/Apptainer. Experience building observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). Experience building data processing platforms or HPC solutions.
