At Uniscan Research, we turn science-intensive instruments into serial products.
For over 20 years, we have been developing technical security systems. Our solutions are used for protecting territories, important strategic facilities such as nuclear power plants, airports, etc.
Examples of our products: perimeter security systems, CityAir eco-monitoring stations, iFarm greenhouse automation system, smart photo radar complex simulators.
Now we are looking for a C++ programmer to strengthen one of our teams.
About the product
You will be working on a desktop application for the automated workstation of the Radiobarrier alarm complex operator, allowing real-time monitoring of the status, configuration, and response to events of the complex's components.
Key aspects:
Development based on a GIS kernel;
Windows and Astra Linux OS;
C++ programming language; we use Qt for interface creation;
Working with peripherals, network protocols, hardware software protection, video streams;
Application area where software reliability is a mandatory requirement.
About the team
The team consists of 4 C++ programmers, two testers, a Product Owner, and a Scrum Master. Development is conducted according to the Scrum framework.
Tasks
The future colleague will be involved in creating a new version of the product.
Who we are looking for
We envision that a successful candidate has 3+ years of commercial development experience, knows C++, OOP, and design patterns, and has worked with Windows and Linux.
Experience in developing cross-platform C++ applications will be a definite plus.

We work in Novosibirsk, with an office in Akademgorodok. A hybrid work format is possible (2-3 days a week you can work from home). During the adaptation period, it is preferable to be in the office.
