Middle QA Engineer / AI Product Tester We are creating an AI product for recruitment that helps companies work with candidates faster and more accurately: from uploading job postings and resumes to AI scoring, question generation, call transcription, and hiring decisions. We are currently strengthening our team and looking for a Middle QA Engineer who can independently take responsibility for product quality, test key scenarios, and help build QA processes from scratch. We need not a Junior, but a self-sufficient specialist who knows how to not just follow checklists, but to think like a user, find risks, check business logic, and help the team release a stable product. What you will do — Test recruiter user scenarios: from registration to creating a job posting, uploading candidates, working with AI results, and uploading call recordings. — Accept new features according to acceptance criteria. — Write checklists, test cases, and verification scenarios. — Test positive and negative scenarios. — Handle non-standard cases: corrupted files, empty fields, incorrect data, a large number of candidates for a job posting, problems with access and data isolation. — Test client-server logic and REST API. — Evaluate the quality of AI functions: resume and job posting parsing, candidate scoring, question generation, call transcription, and text quality. — Create, describe, and track bugs in the tracker. — Help the team build the QA process at an early stage of the product. What is important
Will be a plus — Experience testing AI/LLM products. — Experience testing HR-tech, ATS, CRM, or recruitment systems. — Basic knowledge of SQL. — Test automation skills. — Experience with Playwright or similar tools. — Understanding of recruitment processes. Selection Stage The mandatory selection stage is a test assignment. We want to see not only the experience in the resume but also how the candidate thinks as a QA: how carefully they read requirements, how well they find risks, formulate bugs, create checklists, and test the product from the perspective of a real user. The test assignment will be related to typical scenarios of our product: registration, working with job postings, uploading candidates, checking AI results, and describing found issues. Without completing the test assignment, candidates will not be considered for the final stage. It’s important not just to check if a button can be clicked, but to understand: whether the scenario works correctly, whether the logic is broken, whether data is processed correctly, whether the AI recognizes information accurately, whether the texts are understandable, and whether the feature can be released to clients.
