QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will ask themselves in this role:

"Why did the system decide to show this particular vacancy to the user?"

This is not a classic web application testing. This is work with an AI recommendation system that analyzes the candidate's profile and thousands of vacancies, and then decides what the person should see first. It's important here not only to find a bug. It's important to understand if the system is thinking logically.

You will have to check dozens of real-life scenarios:

• candidate without CV;
• person with extensive experience;
• empty profile;
• unusual career history;
• no job title;
• contradictory data...

And each time answer the question: "If this were a real user, would these recommendations be truly helpful?"

What's important for the role:

• 3+ years of QA experience;
• Web/API testing experience;
• confident SQL skills;
• API (Postman or similar tools);
• a passion for finding non-standard scenarios and attention to detail.

Will be a plus: experience with Python, recommendation/search systems, or an understanding of ML.

💰 Budget — up to $2,000 gross. 🌍 We consider candidates from most countries. We do not consider specialists located in the Russian Federation.
