We are currently looking for a Vulnerability Detection Analyst Engineer to join the team responsible for developing expertise for our security scanner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct search, parsing, and subsequent analysis of data sources providing vulnerability information;
- Develop and form expertise (technical security standards and vulnerability information) in the field of information security for the company's products;
- Automate the processes of forming information security expertise;
- Interact with product teams to improve product performance.
We expect you to have:
- Systems thinking, including the ability to formulate hypotheses and test them in practice;
- Proficiency in Git, Python;
- Experience in administering Windows and Linux systems;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Will be a plus:
- Experience in instrumental security analysis or experience with one of the security scanners (Nessus, Nexpose, Qualys, MaxPatrol, OpenVAS, RedCheck, nmap);
- Experience administering network and other equipment;
- Knowledge of current threats and vulnerabilities on Windows/Linux platforms;
- Experience applying methodologies for describing, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities (CVE, CVSS, VPR, OWASP);
- Understanding of automation tool principles (Apache Airflow);
- Skills in using "Compliance" mode for assessing conformity;
- Higher education in IT or Information Security.
