Head of Treasury Financial Planning Division in Fintech

Fintech is a young, yet already large and important service of Yandex. We create products and tools for managing users' personal finances.

The Treasury team is responsible for managing structural and physical liquidity, ALM risks, tax efficiency, and raising funding, as well as acting as a business partner for the savings vertical of the business.

For this team, we are looking for a strong specialist who will help Fintech build forecasts, work on improving the quality of financial management, and formulate plans within the budget process.

What tasks await you

Building financial models and forecasts for Fintech legal entities For high-quality management of both liquidity and financial results, it is important to have a quality forecast, linked to current actual figures, for each significant company.

Improving the planning process The forecasting and business planning process is closely linked to both business units and related departments, so it is important to us that models are formed in a transparent and structured format and take into account all inputs from colleagues.

Setting requirements for data delivery automation We work closely with the financial analytics team, which helps us minimize labor costs for completing our tasks, so it is important to be able to transparently and comprehensively formulate business requirements for our tasks and dashboards.

We expect you to

• Know the mechanism for building company balance sheets (financial and non-financial)
• Understand the specifics of different types of accounting
• Understand the mechanics of forming the financial result of an internal bank
• Are proficient in SQL/Python and Excel

Will be a plus

• Have worked with regulatory acts and instructions of the Central Bank of Russia
• Have experience in calculating capital adequacy for credit institutions
• Understand the principles of tax accounting
• Have experience structuring complex financial models with a large number of interrelationships
