About the Product
We are developing SilentRoom - a text AI environment for authors. An "author's exoskeleton": an amplifier of cognitive abilities, not a replacement. Instead of a word processor - an environment with hierarchy and instant access to any file. Instead of a single chat - a selection of top models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Grok), a library of editable prompts, and the Echo extension.
Slogan: Write. Think. Verify. In silence.
Stack: Express, React + Vite, MobX, TypeScript, Tiptap, Supabase.
What Needs to Be Done
Take the editor's frontend and bring it to release. We already have a senior frontend developer - you will work closely with them, but on your own segment, you will manage everything yourself: from store logic to final layout. Multi-panel interface, document hierarchy, integration with multiple AI providers. No one will check your progress every day - you will break down the task yourself, set your own milestones, and deliver the result.
Role
MobX in production - practical experience, not just "listed on resume." You've identified unnecessary re-renders and know why they happen, not just "add memo everywhere just in case."
React + TypeScript at a level where strict typing catches errors before production, not just for show. You know the difference between unknown and any and why they are not the same.
You design the server-side with an understanding of data security: input data validation, the difference between authentication and authorization is obvious to you.
You debug yourself. When something breaks, you have hypotheses, tools, and logic of "cause → effect," not a habit of feeding a trace to a neural network and using the first answer. We are building an AI product, and precisely because of this, we want someone who understands what's happening under the hood, not someone who "vibes" code.
What We Are NOT Looking For
Those who need a detailed technical specification for every button - here you are a co-author, not an executor. Those who listed MobX on their resume but actually managed state within components. Those who say "I know React" without understanding why a component re-renders. Those who fix a bug until the warning disappears, without understanding what happened.
Will Be a Plus
Experience with headless editors (Tiptap / ProseMirror). Product experience in SaaS / AI tools. Experience in self-managing teams without strict control.
Conditions
Remote, full-time. Experience from 3 years. English: reading technical documentation, interface texts - B1 is sufficient.
How to Apply
No resume needed. No cover letter needed. Go to the bot: - a few questions in text, to the point. If you agree with the bot - you will then talk to a person.
