We are now strengthening our logistics analytics department and are looking for a systematic and attentive Analytics Specialist who will help build a transparent system for controlling warehouse and transportation indicators. This is an opportunity to work with large data sets, influence the efficiency of logistics processes, and create tools that allow for prompt decision-making based on numbers.
Your mission: to provide transparent and prompt analytics of logistics processes – from data collection and processing to KPI calculation, reporting automation, and the development of proposals to improve warehouse and transportation efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analytical Reporting: development and daily maintenance of an analytical reporting system – collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of data on key logistics indicators.
- Analytics Automation: creation and support of databases, development of an automatically updated reporting system and tools for prompt monitoring of logistics indicators.
- KPI and Efficiency: calculation and improvement of KPI methodology for evaluating the performance of warehouse employees and logistics processes as a whole.
- Logistics Strategy Analysis: conducting calculations to assess and improve logistics strategies, identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency.
- Warehouse Performance Monitoring: analysis of employee productivity and warehouse processes, identification of deviations, and preparation of proposals for their elimination.
- Transportation Performance Monitoring: analysis of the timeliness and completeness of shipments by region and transport companies, monitoring the quality of logistics operations.
- Provider Analysis: evaluation of the optimal choice of transport provider by routes, considering service quality, delivery times, and costs.
- Logistics Costs: analysis of warehousing and transportation logistics costs, identification of factors influencing costs, and search for optimization opportunities.
- Improvement Identification: identification of bottlenecks and risks in logistics processes, development of proposals for their minimization and efficiency improvement.
- Team Collaboration: working with warehouse and logistics departments, assisting in the interpretation of indicators and the use of analytics for operational decision-making.
We are looking for an employee with the following experience:
- Higher technical education.
- At least 2 years of experience in analyzing logistics, production indicators, or KPIs in other functional areas.
- Expert proficiency in Excel, including processing large data sets and working with Power Query.
- Solid knowledge of SQL for data extraction, processing, and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools and creating analytical reports.
- Knowledge of 1C will be an additional advantage.
- Understanding of data analysis methodology and database construction principles will be an advantage.
- Basic English language proficiency.
- Interest in developing expertise in warehouse and transportation logistics.
- Ability to work with large volumes of data, identify patterns, and translate analysis results into concrete conclusions and actions.
- Systemic approach, attention to detail, and a high level of responsibility for data quality.
- Willingness to continuously develop, seek new approaches, and improve analytical tools.
- Project management experience and the ability to independently organize work on tasks.
- Skills in identifying and analyzing risks, as well as developing measures to minimize them.
- Focus on continuous improvement and understanding the link between analytics, process efficiency, and business results.
