Technical Copyeditor / Science Writer

Remote / freelance contract opportunity

We’re growing our writing team at The Mission Control Communications and looking for a freelance technical copyeditor / science writer (who’ll work directly with me).

The Mission Control is an award-winning advertising agency working with some of the biggest names in life sciences, bioprocessing, and biotech.

You’ll help us simplify dense data, catch the small details that matter, and help us turn complex science into sharp, clear copy that resonates with scientists and decision makers.

The role involves ensuring our clients’ technical and marketing materials are clear and concise, and creating relevant, engaging social copy for events and promotions.

If you’ve a science background or industry experience (ideally related to biopharma/discovery/medical), experience in copyediting academic papers or technical writing, and a strong eye for editorial precision, get in touch.

We’re based in Northern Ireland, but open to remote working if you’re the right fit for the role.
