IT company ProductHow is looking for a Product Design Art Director.

The company creates product design for web and mobile applications. Projects include large and complex web services, as well as business and consumer mobile applications.

The team needs a Product Design Art Director. A person who sets the bar and is responsible for how products look and feel: a unified visual language, taste, integrity, and level of craftsmanship. And who grows designers so that the bar is raised for the entire team. For the company, design is a full cycle: from idea and prototype to production launch. This is not pure management. About half of your time you will lead the team and set the direction, and the other half you will personally do design for key and most complex tasks.

What you will do:

• Set the direction and maintain a unified visual language across all studio products
• Review the team's work, provide critique, and bring the design to the required level of craftsmanship
• Be responsible for taste and design integrity, develop design systems
• Personally lead key and most complex products, from scenarios and prototypes to UX/UI
• Develop designers and raise the overall level of the team
• Participate in hiring and set up processes and standards together with the Design Director
• Collaborate with product teams, development, and clients, explain and defend decisions
• Use AI as leverage for yourself and the team, for prototypes and process acceleration

What we expect from you:

• Strong portfolio with product cases showcasing design level and your role
• Experience as an Art Director or Lead, where you managed a team of designers, set the direction, raised the quality of work, provided critique, and developed people
• Product thinking: ability to create design from business goals and user needs, think about what problem we are solving and for what audience, turn complexity into clarity
• Strong visual taste and experience, to set the bar rather than chase it
• Sense of integrity and attention to detail, from composition and typography to interface states
• Confident work in Figma, including design systems
• Experience with AI, including prototype creation
• Communication with business and clients
• Your English level from B2
• Experience participating in research and using analytics in design is a plus
