We're hiring a Head of AI at Maisa 🧠 Here's the honest version of what that means 👇

Most enterprise AI never ships. The demos look great - then they hit a wall the moment a bank, an insurer, or a regulator asks "but can you prove what it did, and why?" 🏦

That question is our entire business. We build Digital Workers that automate complex, decision-heavy work in environments where being wrong isn't an option - and we make every step traceable, auditable, and reliable. ✅

We're growing fast 🚀 and as we scale, we're investing heavily in our AI function. That's why we're looking for a Head of AI to lead it across two teams:

🔹 our Applied AI team, building the AI services behind our platform 🔹 our Research team, focused on training, fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying our own models (LLMs & SLMs)

That's where you come in 👇 This is a genuinely hands-on role. Beyond leading the teams, you'll be deep in the work itself - driving the efficiency, quality, and accountability of our models, and making sure they hold up where it counts. You'd own both teams day-to-day, responsible for growing, developing, and getting the best out of the people in them, working closely with our Chief Science Officer, Manuel Romero 🤝

For this role, we're looking for someone who's already been hands-on with training, fine-tuning, and evaluating models - it's really at the heart of what you'd be doing here.

What we care about: → You've actually trained, fine-tuned, and evaluated models — not just called APIs → You treat efficiency, quality, and accountability of models as first-class engineering problems → You can lead people without disappearing into management → You're drawn to the hard version of the problem: AI you can trust in regulated, high-stakes settings
