Hello, our future colleague! We, LogicBPM company, are currently looking for a QA Manager.
About us in brief:
LogicBPM is a Russian team of experts in the field of software development for business process management. We are developing an innovative platform that will become the foundation for many business process automation products, with a primary focus on optimizing Service Desk operations. Our goal is to transform traditional approaches to SD and create a product that will become an absolute market leader in its category.
Your tasks:
- Build and develop testing processes within the team (testing strategy, quality standards, test documentation templates).
- Lead the QA engineer team: distribute tasks, monitor workload, conduct 1-1s and growth reviews.
- Plan test coverage for releases together with team leads and analysts, assess risks and testing timelines.
- Be responsible for release quality before deployment — agree on go/no-go based on testing results.
- Implement and monitor quality metrics (defect rate, test case coverage, escaped bugs in production).
- Develop test automation practices within the team, define automation priorities.
- Organize interaction between QA, development, analytics, and DevOps on product quality and stability issues.
- Conduct hiring, onboarding, and adaptation of new QA engineers.
- Analyze production incidents together with the team, identify systemic causes of missed defects.
Mandatory requirements for your candidacy:
- At least 3 years of experience in QA, with at least 1 year in a QA team lead/manager role.
- Experience in building testing processes and test documentation from scratch or significantly improving them.
- Solid understanding of test design methodologies and the ability to train the team in them.
- Experience testing APIs (REST, GraphQL) and understanding of client-server architecture principles.
- Experience working with Jira/Confluence at the process organization level (workflow, reporting, metrics).
- Skills in working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- English language proficiency at the level of reading technical documentation.
Will be a plus:
- People management experience: setting goals, providing feedback, performance evaluation (team up to 5 people).
- Experience implementing or overseeing automated tests (RestAssured, Selenide, Playwright, TestNG/JUnit).
- Experience with load testing and understanding when it should be applied (Gatling, JMeter).
- Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes and understanding CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus) for analyzing production stability.
- Basic knowledge of Java.
