The team says:
We have too much interesting stuff going on in R&D: we're making smart contact lenses and simultaneously managing a bunch of projects with corporate clients — and these projects are growing very fast. We're looking for someone who is interested in creating completely new devices and working at the cutting edge of science, while also organizing project documentation and maintaining communication between teams of engineers and scientists, business, and clients. Work is based in the Dubai office, surrounded by holographic helmets, high-tech equipment, and smart lenses.
What you'll do:
- take the vision from the manager and turn it into structured technical specifications — through dialogue with industrial designers and R&D;
- take PoC projects from the business team and be the single point of accountability for their implementation;
- dive into the context of large corporate clients from optics and electronics, translating their requests into product and technical requirements;
- manage the R&D project portfolio: statuses, deadlines, agreements, order in Notion;
- coordinate work between R&D, the legal department, business, and marketing;
- identify bottlenecks and risks — and resolve them before they become a problem.
What we're looking for in a candidate:
- 5+ years in project/product management, preferably with B2B and hardware experience;
- technical higher education and engineering literacy — to read technical specifications and speak with engineers in their language;
- experience in both startups and large companies;
- experience with external corporate clients at the enterprise level;
- ability to build processes from scratch and structure uncertainty;
- proficient in Notion; English B2+.
Will be a plus:
- experience in R&D, hardware, or deep tech environments;
- understanding of optics, electronics, biosensing, or wireless technologies;
- experience in writing and approving technical specifications;
- practice with Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
