We are currently looking for Backend Developers for a corporate GenAI products project.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop production-ready APIs and microservices in Python/FastAPI for GenAI products and corporate integrations;
- Create agent scenarios and workflows + LLM: state machine, routing, tool calling, structured outputs, context, retries, idempotency, and error handling;
- Integrate AI services with corporate systems via REST/API, message queues, and event contracts; ensure versioning and observability of integrations;
- Develop services for enterprise RAG: interaction with the retrieval layer, document sources, vector search, reranking, and citations;
- Implement agent security boundaries: RBAC/ABAC, tool authorization checks, secrets management, action auditing, and human approval for write operations;
- Cover code with tests, participate in code reviews, profiling, incident resolution, and preparing services for operation in Kubernetes;
- Collaborate with system analysts, NLP/ML engineers, DevOps, and Information Security specialists on contracts, acceptance criteria, load characteristics, and solution quality.
Requirements
- Backend development experience with Python for over 3 years and confident practical knowledge of FastAPI;
- Experience in designing REST APIs, OpenAPI, Pydantic schemas, authentication and authorization, background tasks, and error handling;
- Confident knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy or a similar ORM; understanding of migrations, transactions, indexes, and query optimization;
- Experience with asynchronous Python, RabbitMQ/Kafka queues, Redis, and event-driven architecture;
- Practical experience in building LLM/agent workflows or readiness to quickly master LangGraph, Temporal, LlamaIndex, and the MCP approach;
- Understanding of reliable distributed processing: idempotency, retries, timeouts, DLQ, outbox pattern, correlation ID, and tracing;
- Ability to write unit/integration tests, conduct code reviews, use Git and CI/CD; basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes;
- Understanding of Information Security requirements for corporate services: SSO, RBAC, secrets management, auditing, and the principle of least privilege.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with LangGraph, Temporal, LlamaIndex, LangChain, MCP, or similar frameworks and protocols;
- Experience integrating with LLM Gateways, vLLM/TGI, OpenAI-compatible APIs, vector databases, and search engines;
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, structured logging, and GenAI application observability tools;
- Experience developing for isolated on-premise environments, industrial companies, or systems with increased reliability and audit requirements.
