To strengthen our team, we are looking for a QA Engineer
We are developing a large-scale project (b2b/b2c) with over 50 people working on it.
About Projects and Tasks:
- Projects are b2b/b2c with external clients, the application area can vary: from traffic processing systems for internet providers to back-office corporate systems.
- The main task is to ensure testing, regression, acceptance testing (analysis of software product compliance with requirements and expectations), as well as analysis of interface prototype compliance with business requirements.
- The QA Engineer on the project writes test cases, test plans, and test results. Conducts testing, generates timely reports on work results. Interacts with clients in the area of testing. Participates in releases. Participates in integration interactions with external teams.
Our Expectations:
You know:
- How the internet works
- Differences in testing mobile applications and web applications
- How to create a test case
- Differences between a checklist and a test case
- Basic concepts of SQL queries
You can:
- Use browser developer consoles
- Use API testing tools
- Work in any project management systems (YouTrack, Jira, Trello)
You have commercial testing experience of at least 6 months.
It would be good if you:
- Have basic knowledge of any SQL dialect
- Have experience working with the Linux command line
- Have a basic understanding of modern approaches to CI/CD and the software development lifecycle
- Have experience with sniffers (Charles or similar)
- Know TestRail or other TMS testing systems
