We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join the Publishing team to strengthen our analytical direction and help the team work more effectively with a growing number of projects and requests. You will collaborate with publishing producers, User Acquisition and Monetization teams, as well as development studios, helping to make informed data-driven decisions.
In addition to product and marketing analytics, an important part of the role involves automating workflows using AI development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor. You will create internal tools to reduce manual work, speed up regular analytics preparation, and allow producers to independently find answers to common questions.
This position combines practical mobile game analytics with AI-based tool development. We are looking for a specialist who not only analyzes data but also knows how to turn analysis results into working solutions that others use.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming analytical requests from publishing producers and development studios, independently prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Analyze product and marketing metrics of mobile games, identify growth points and opportunities for improving results.
- Calculate, track, and interpret key product and marketing metrics: retention, ARPU/ARPDAU, LTV, CPI, ROAS, conversion to paying users.
- Support publishing teams with analytics and recommendations for product development, user acquisition, monetization, and game mechanics.
- Support regular reporting and automate repetitive processes, reducing manual work.
- Participate in the design of A/B tests, analyze their results, and formulate practical recommendations.
- Develop internal tools using AI programming tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or their equivalents.
- Create dashboards, automated reports, alerts, scripts, and small internal applications that help the team work more efficiently.
- Develop self-service tools that allow producers to independently obtain answers to typical analytical questions without needing to contact an analyst every time.
- Verify the correctness of code and results obtained using AI: cross-check calculations with source data, perform data quality checks, and identify potential errors.
- Collaborate with the Lead Data Analyst, Data Engineer, and CTO on technical aspects of analytical solutions, including architecture, code reviews, access, and deployment.
- Clearly communicate analysis results to non-technical specialists and explain what business decisions can be made based on them.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as an analyst exclusively in mobile game development.
- Proficient in SQL: CTEs, window functions, working with large volumes of data.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation: pandas, NumPy, or similar libraries.
- Deep understanding of F2P mobile game metrics: retention, ARPU/ARPDAU, LTV, CPI, ROAS, conversion to paying users.
- Practical experience in designing and analyzing A/B tests, understanding the basics of statistics.
- Experience with BI tools: Tableau, Looker, Superset, Power BI, or similar solutions.
- Practical experience in creating working tools using AI programming tools, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or their equivalents. For example, scripts, dashboards, automated reports, or small applications used by other employees.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to transform complex data into clear insights and specific business recommendations.
- Ability to independently prioritize, handle multiple requests simultaneously, and balance operational support with deeper research.
- Independence, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability for results. It is important for us that the specialist not only analyzes but also brings solutions to a working state and ensures they are actually used.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both technical specialists and colleagues without a technical background.
Will be a plus:
- Understanding of User Acquisition, ad monetization, and mobile game marketing processes.
- Experience in automating regular reporting and analytical processes.
- Experience with BigQuery.
- Experience integrating with APIs, including BigQuery, ad networks, and MMPs.
