Middle+ Back-End Ruby Developer in a crypto banking project 🚀

A large, actively growing crypto banking project is looking for a strong Middle+ Back-End Ruby Developer who is ready to tackle complex challenges at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technologies.

Technology Stack: ✔️ Backend: Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis; ✔️ Architecture: Trailblazer Operations, Dry-rb (Validation, Types), Alba (serialization); ✔️ Background Jobs: Sidekiq, sidekiq-cron; ✔️ API: REST, JWT authorization, Swagger/OpenAPI; ✔️ Integrations: Telegram Bot API, Blockchain nodes, payment gateways; ✔️ Infrastructure: Docker, GitLab CI/CD; ✔️ Testing: RSpec, FactoryBot.

Required Tasks: 🔸 Development and support of APIs for mobile applications (iOS/Android) and Telegram Mini Apps; 🔸 Designing complex business logic for financial operations based on Trailblazer; 🔸 Integration with external payment systems, banks, and crypto exchanges; 🔸 Performance optimization (SQL, Sidekiq) and working with high loads; 🔸 Code review, code coverage with tests (RSpec); 🔸 Mandatory understanding of responsibility for one's own code.

Required Skills:

Mandatory 🔹 Commercial Ruby on Rails development experience of 3+ years; 🔹 Experience or strong desire to delve into Clean Architecture (Trailblazer / Dry-rb); 🔹 Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL (indexes, locks, transactions) and Redis; 🔹 Confident work with background jobs (Sidekiq) and asynchronous operations; 🔹 Understanding of SOLID, DRY principles and the ability to write maintainable code; 🔹 Mandatory experience writing tests (RSpec).

Desirable ◽️ Experience in Fintech (billing, processing) or the crypto industry; ◽️ Understanding of blockchain operation (gas, transactions, nodes); ◽️ Experience with Telegram Bot API and Mini Apps specifics; ◽️ Experience in code profiling and bottleneck identification.
