ABOUT THE TEAM
Antifraud analytics at Higgsfield AI helps identify abuse, estimate losses, and turn investigation results into working rules. We explore connections between accounts, user behavior, and payments, working with product, development, and the ML team. We are looking for an analyst who can get to the root cause, critically verify numbers, and quickly translate findings into action.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Investigate suspicious registrations, payments, and product usage, reconstructing the sequence of events from data.
- Search for connections between accounts and identify groups with common characteristics and recurring abuse scenarios.
- Assess risks before launching promotions and promotional mechanics, propose restrictions and checks, and track the actual effect after launch.
- Formulate antifraud rules and test them on historical data: evaluate coverage, false positives, and financial results.
- Support the implementation of rules together with development, verify the correctness of calculations, and track the results after launch.
- Calculate losses and prevented damage, considering the impact of restrictions on legitimate users.
- Build monitoring for anomalies and new patterns, verify signals, and prioritize investigations based on potential damage.
- Document cases and transfer findings to the ML team for improving features, labeling, and models.
REQUIREMENTS
- Work experience in analytics of 2+ years.
- Solid SQL skills, experience analyzing large tables and joining events from different sources.
- Python for data exploration, automation of checks, and backtests.
- Ability to test hypotheses with raw data, notice discrepancies, and find the causes of anomalies.
- Understanding of rule evaluation principles: precision, recall, false positives, and monetary effect.
- Attention to detail and willingness to analyze complex cases down to individual accounts and transactions.
- Ability to clearly describe identified scenarios, formulate rules, and see them through to implementation.
- Readiness to work with changing priorities and quickly respond to new abuse schemes.
WILL BE A PLUS
- Experience in antifraud, transactional risks, Trust & Safety, or abuse investigation.
- Experience analyzing connections between accounts and identifying organized groups.
- Experience assessing risks of promotional campaigns, bonus mechanics, or subscription products.
- Experience collaborating with an ML team on labeling and features for models.
