React · Next.js · Node.js · Express · Development using AI We are looking for a web developer with a primary focus on frontend, but with backend experience, who can confidently work with all the core parts of a modern web application. The main focus of the position is frontend and web development, however, the developer should also understand how the backend, API, databases, and overall application architecture interact. We are not looking for someone who can only create individual UI components. We need a developer who understands the full development cycle and can work effectively within existing production code. Required Experience Web Development Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software or web application development. Solid knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript. Professional experience with React. Experience with Next.js. Practical knowledge of Node.js. Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js backend frameworks. HTML5, CSS3, responsive layout. Experience integrating frontend applications with REST API. Understanding of authentication, application state, error handling, and asynchronous processes. Understanding of Backend and Databases It is not required for the candidate to be a specialized backend developer or database administrator, however, they should understand: how Node.js backend works; routing, controllers, services, and middleware; how frontend and backend applications interact; REST API principles; basic concepts of authentication and authorization; fundamentals of relational databases; tables, relationships, primary and foreign keys, indexes, and basic queries; how application models relate to database structure. Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Supabase, Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM, or similar technologies will be an advantage. Code Quality and Architecture The candidate should understand the principles of: clean and maintainable code; separation of concerns; creation of reusable components and modules; reasonable project structure; elimination of unnecessary duplication; refactoring; error handling; code review; debugging; basic testing practices; working with Git and version control systems. We do not expect theoretical knowledge of all existing architectural patterns. But we expect an understanding of why code structure matters and how poor technical decisions begin to affect a project as it grows. AI Tools for Development Development using AI is an important part of our workflow. The candidate should have practical experience using tools such as: ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or other AI agents for programming. We expect the developer to be able to use AI for: studying unfamiliar code; generating and modifying implementations; debugging; refactoring; writing tests; finding technical solutions; code analysis and review; identifying possible edge cases; accelerating work with large existing codebases. At the same time, the developer must be able to independently evaluate AI-generated code. Simply copying generated code without understanding is not enough. The candidate must be able to check: whether the proposed implementation matches the existing architecture; whether it adheres to the conventions adopted in the project; whether the solution is technically correct. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate is a developer who can take on a new feature or technical task, understand how it fits into the existing application, independently study the necessary part of the codebase, implement the solution, and verify its correctness. The developer should confidently ask technical questions if the requirements are not clear enough, but at the same time be capable of independently exploring the codebase and proposing reasonable technical solutions.
