Level Designer

Hypernova develops Hybrid Casual mobile games that are fun to play! Together with SayGames, we released Dream Dale, Life Dream, Decor Life, Staff!, Rage Road, and Mini Market, with a total of over 180 million installs.

We are also developing deeper and more colorful Hybrid Casual projects. Our projects are distinguished by in-depth gameplay development for the user, a colorful visual style, attention to detail, and respect for the player's time.

We are not building an ideal game production factory, but rather strive to use people's strengths and develop the company with a human touch and adequate working conditions. We have many years of experience in mobile gamedev, so we will support you with our expertise and won't let you get bored, as we don't do long-term projects. We work for results!

How we work:

• Casual and arcade games
• Brisk development pace (not farming games, but also not hyper-casual)
• Adequate technical specifications with references and iterative work with the lead
• Active interaction in a small team (3-5 people)

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the development of game features and mechanics from the planning stage to implementation;
• Content creation (levels, maps, locations);
• Interaction with programmers and artists.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Unity;
• Experience as a Level Designer;
• Basic skills in 2D/3D software are welcome;
• Creative thinking, ability to create a variety of game situations based on simple mechanics;
• Understanding the specifics of the hyper-casual game market, its aesthetics, trends, and monetization features;
• Communication/interaction with different team members, an adequate attitude towards criticism;
• A portfolio with works in a style close to our games is mandatory. Please review our projects via the links above.
• At least one released game.

Will be a plus:

• Experience in R&D.
