An international high-tech ecosystem is looking for a Lead Java Developer to design services for millions of users, tackle complex engineering challenges alongside a strong development team without bureaucracy and with modern processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional development team;
- Organize an effective development process, including sprint planning, task assignment, deadline and quality control;
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews;
- Participate in the development of architecture and technical solutions;
- Optimize product performance and scalability;
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve common goals;
- Track and implement new development technologies.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 7 years of experience in the IT field, including at least 2 years of experience leading a development team;
- Deep understanding of software development principles and architecture;
- Experience with one or more backend programming languages;
- Experience with DBMS (PostgreSQL, etc.), understanding their inner workings;
- Leadership and communication skills;
- Ability to motivate and inspire the team.
Bonus points:
- Experience with microservice architecture;
- Experience with DevOps practices;
