Hello✋ Vacancy for Senior Data Scientist, remote.
The company is a startup transforming wholesale electricity trading with AI/ML and quantitative finance.
• Work at the intersection of ML, algorithmic trading, and energy markets; • Focus on building models and trading algorithms.
• Designing and improving ML models for trading algorithms; • Building pipelines for training and predictions; • Analyzing data and researching the electricity market; • Developing and optimizing portfolio strategies and risk models.
Requirements: • Strong Python and SQL; • Experience with libraries: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, sklearn; • Experience with optimization (e.g., CVXPY, CVXOPT, Pyomo); • Ability to implement complex constrained optimization algorithms; • Plus: experience with factor models and algorithmic trading; knowledge of algorithmic construction of hedged portfolios or experience with other asset classes. • Fluent English (technical).
