You will be:
- Configuring and commissioning data center equipment (network equipment, DDoS protection complexes, web-proxy, WAF, etc.);
- Configuring filtering systems for the specifics of protected resources;
- Responding promptly to DDoS attack incidents, including analyzing attack vectors, making filtering decisions, and coordinating actions;
- Monitoring network traffic and attack indicators, configuring alerting systems (Zabbix, Grafana);
- Interacting with owners of protected resources, providers, and higher authorities;
- Participating in infrastructure planning and development;
- Developing and updating technical documentation, regulations, and instructions;
- Managing the DDoS protection team;
- Implementing network and application-level DDoS protection systems, ensuring the continuous operation of information security tools.
We are looking for:
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, etc. protocol stack principles;
- Understanding the TLS connection establishment mechanism;
- Knowledge of network technologies at a level not lower than CCNA;
- Skills in in-depth network traffic analysis;
- Experience with Zabbix, Grafana, ELK for monitoring, analysis, and alerting of security events;
- Operating system administration (Linux family);
- Understanding the principles of operation and architecture of web applications;
- Knowledge of DDoS attack vectors and methods of their prevention, both at L3-L4 and L7 levels;
- Understanding the principles of operation of dynamic routing protocols on the Internet (primarily BGP);
- Experience with Wireshark, reverse proxy;
- Experience in administering web servers;
- Knowledge of basic Python programming;
- Knowledge of typical application/protocol threats and vulnerabilities;
- Ability to configure the Linux OS network stack;
- Knowledge in the field of network technologies and network security;
- Basic knowledge of Nginx, Docker;
- Knowledge of SQL for query construction and data retrieval from databases.
