We are currently looking for a Senior C++ Developer for one of our new projects.
Responsibilities
- Participation in the full product development cycle: from architecture design to release and support.
- Development of high-load and fault-tolerant systems in C++.
- Performance optimization (memory, CPU, network latency).
- Working with multithreading and asynchronous programming.
- Designing scalable solutions using microservices or monolithic architectures.
- Implementing and configuring CI/CD, orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Implementing fault tolerance mechanisms (failover, self-healing).
- Conducting code reviews, mentoring junior/middle developers.
- Interaction with the team (backend, frontend, DevOps, QA).
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial experience in C++.
- Deep knowledge of C++17/20 (templates, STL, RAII, move semantics, smart pointers).
- Experience with multithreading (std::thread, mutex, atomic).
- Understanding of x86-64 assembly, code optimization (SIMD, cache-friendly code).
- System programming: memory management, system calls (Linux/Windows), IPC.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC).
- Ability to design architecture (SOLID, patterns, microservices).
- Experience with build systems (CMake, Make), CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Proficiency with debuggers (gdb/lldb), profilers (Valgrind, perf).
- Working with Git, static analyzers (Clang-Tidy), sanitizers (ASan, TSan).
- English (reading documentation, communication).
Will be a plus:
- Experience with orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker).
- Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of DBMS (sharding, replication, B-tree/LSM-tree, WAL).
- Experience with distributed databases (Cassandra, Spanner, Tarantool).
- Understanding of distributed systems (CAP, Paxos/Raft, consistent hashing).
- Resilience testing (Jepsen, Chaos Monkey).
