Chief Accountant & Financial Manager | Cyprus

A Cypriot company specializing in the issuance of structured financial products is looking for a Chief Accountant & Financial Manager who will take over the company's accounting and financial operations and interact directly with the CEO.

Responsibilities: • Maintain full accounting records in accordance with IFRS and Cyprus legislation (Companies Law, Cap. 113); • Be responsible for GL, AP, AR, payroll; • Prepare monthly / quarterly / annual financial reporting; • Participate in the preparation of Group & consolidated reports; • Control cash flow and payments; • Participate in budgeting and variance analysis; • Prepare financial and management reports for the CEO; • Interact with external auditors and consultants; • Control tax and mandatory reporting.

We are looking for someone with: • Experience in accounting & finance in Cyprus; • Experience in investment / capital markets / brokerage; • Good knowledge of IFRS and Cyprus accounting legislation; • Practical experience in preparing financial and tax reporting in Cyprus; • Experience in independently managing a company's accounting; • Understanding of GL, AP, AR, payroll, cash flow, and budgeting; • Experience interacting with external auditors; • Working level proficiency in English and Russian languages.

Conditions: 📍 Limassol, Cyprus 🏠 hybrid\remote (we consider candidates only from Cyprus) 📄 Preferably cooperation under a civil-law / service contract, employment is also possible. 📊 Small volume of regular operational tasks. We are considering freelance support \ part-time cooperation.
